| Our purple 1955 Chevy is pictured here, racing all-time great Dyno Don Nicholson at the Chief Auto Parts Winternationals, on February 2, 1997 at Pomona Raceway. Even though we had a 706-cu in motor under the hood and 1461 hp pushing us down the track, the mighty legend got to the lights first. Getting beat was never such a thrill! | |||||||
